Selva Vins is the personal project of Carlos Rodríguez, a winegrower with more than 20 years of experience. After working in many vineyards on the island, in some wineries and in different projects related to the world of wine, in 2015 he launched his small winery in a town located at the foot of the mountains in the north of the island.
Selva Vins was the first winery on the islands to bring to the market natural and minimal intervention wines with native varieties, such as the first island ancestral (pet-nat), the first clarete, use of chestnut barrels, or single-varietals of native grapes with spontaneous fermentation, among other innovative elaborations at that time in their homeland.
In 2021, after finishing her wine-making studies and after a lifetime helping Carlos in the winery tasks, his daughter, Hada Rodríguez, also begins to make her own wines in this winery where all the work is artisanal and the grapes come from environmentally friendly vineyards.
